College Campuses & Centres
As a large, successful college, catering for a broad range of students, Leeds City College is truly integrated into the city with several locations across Leeds. It currently operates out of four main campuses – Park Lane, Technology, Printworks and the University Centre – as well as having community provisions in smaller centres in Beeston, Leeds, Seacroft and Rothwell.
Investing in Our Facilities
In order to create inspiring learning environments where every student can achieve their full potential, we have a significant programme of investment in our campuses. A number of development projects are underway which will offer our students dedicated, state-of-the art facilities allowing them to develop their skills and prepare for their future work environment. The most significant of these is the £57m cutting edge development at Quarry Hill which will open in September 2019.
We also have a dedicated learning space for our 14 to 19 school partnerships and alternative provision. The Foundry is conveniently located a stone's throw away from Printworks Campus.
In September 2017, we completed the final phase of the handsome Printworks Campus, an exceptional centre for training specialists in digital and IT and business. The first phase was completed in 2013 and offers fantastic tailored facilities to the School of Engineering, the School of Travel, Food & Drink and the School of Hair, Beauty & Media Makeup.
More recently, the Rothwell Centre was refurbished and has reopened its doors to community learners in the area. Alongside this, we have a brand new provision at Temple Newsam for our School of Land & Animal Sciences.
Leeds City College is part of the larger LCC Group, which also includes Keighley College, Leeds College of Music and the White Rose Academy Trust which comprise Leeds City Academy, Leeds West Academy and Leeds East Academy.
