Luke Jones

Teaching Facilitator

Eager beaver, lifelong learner, serial sightseer.

Luke joined the travel and tourism team in 2019 having previously worked in the apprenticeship department in the college. He is currently undergoing his first year studying towards his teaching qualification. Luke previously worked abroad as a holiday representative for Thomas Cook; he loves helping students find their inner rep and providing them with the best knowledge to help them with their studies.

“Working abroad was an experience I loved and being able to bring my knowledge to the students is incredible. I’m enjoying my new role within the department, everyone is supportive with a range of travel experience. We run a European work placement course where students can gain work experience abroad and a qualification and I’m so excited to be a part of it.”
