Joanne manages Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care Level 2 and Essential Skills which have lovely and committed staff members. This year, they helped out at Carers Leeds on International Women’s Day and visited Herd Farm for team-building. Students have secured employment and apprenticeships in the NHS, Yorkshire Ambulance Service, and various other care settings. Many students have said they now have their dream job.

“I love working at Leeds City College because I get to help students to engage in their futures. I enjoy getting to know all the different students and finding out what makes them tick as individuals. I get a great deal from helping young people negotiate their way through life when they need it the most.”
