Darren is a programme manager for the School of Land and Animal Sciences. His job is to make sure that students are able to achieve their best and progress to meaningful employment or higher level courses. The department is brand new and growing quickly. It plans on providing more Leeds City College students and young people in Leeds with even more animal care opportunities over the coming years.

“I really enjoy working at Temple Newsam campus and I take such pleasure in the experiences and opportunities we are able to offer students. Our lessons are sometimes interrupted by the cows mooing for their breakfast, piglets and lambs being born, and small mammals and exotic animals playing in their enclosures!”
