Learning Support

What is Leeds City College’s Offer?

Leeds City College offers a large range of courses across 5 main campuses and 4 community centers across the region. We offer vocational and academic programs including HE.

The college offers a discreet provision for those who have learning difficulties and or disabilities, aged 16-24yrs with an EHCP. Discreet courses are delivered from our Joseph Priestly Centre, Beeston. Courses are personalised to meet individual needs and work towards outcomes linked to further study, employment and supported living.

The High Needs team is committed to helping people with learning difficulties/disabilities to overcome the barriers within learning, identify strategies that will help them in adulthood, build on personal and social skills and to be fully integrated into the college community.

Students who do not have an EHCP but require some support will receive this through Universal (first teaching) and targeted support. You should apply for your chosen program and discuss your support requirements at the interview.
