Apprenticeships for Your Business
Benefits to your business
If you’re looking to increase productivity and performance and grow your business, why not consider Apprenticeships?
Apprenticeships can be used to up-skill existing staff – to support professional development or higher level skills. Alternatively, you can employ new staff to increase your workforce.
Apprenticeships are work-based training programmes, combining employment and a qualification, meaning you’ll get the opportunity to develop your work-force to suit your business requirements through a mixture of on and off the job learning.
As the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) states the majority of apprentices (90%) stay in employment with seven in ten (71%) staying with the same employer long-term.
2017 Apprenticeship Reforms
The way in which Apprenticeships are funded and delivered has changed from April 2017 when the Apprenticeship Levy for large employers and the 10% Contribution Co-Investment model for smaller employers were introduced. Details of these reforms can be found here.
