Cache/ncfe Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of End of Life Care
Would you like a career where you help people when they need it the most? This qualification will develop your understanding of working in end of life care, the support needed to manage pain and discomfort, the effect of dementia on end of life care, the role of the care worker in time of death, and the loss and grieving process.
You will develop the specialist knowledge needed to work in the social care sector, while developing the essential personal attributes such as emotional resilience to be able to cope with an emotionally taxing role. This course is ideal for adults aged 19+ with an interest in health and social care. There are no formal entry requirements for this programme.
Once you have applied, we will carry out a short skills assessment and signpost to other courses if this is not the appropriate course for your needs.Fee: Free for unemployed adults who are UK residents. It is available for other adults but charges may apply.
