You will benefit from meeting people currently working in the emergency services and armed forces.
You will be able to interact with public service personnel and find out first-hand what it would be like to have a career in the emergency services and armed forces.
You will be assessed through coursework and assignments.
As part of your coursework you will be required to submit evidence of your learning. Evidence will include videos, presentations, practical demonstrations and written work.
This course is delivered at Quarry Hill Campus.
A minimum of 2 GCSEs at grade 3 or D including English and maths.
All candidates must have a genuine interest in working in the emergency services or armed forces, be prepared to participate in physical activities, work in a team, overcome personal challenges and have an enthusiastic approach to learning.
Advice on careers and further study will be given during the course.
After successful completion of the course, students may seek employment or an apprenticeship in the public sector or apply for a level 3 course in Public Services.
