CIPD Intermediate Diploma in Human Resource Management (Level 5)

This Level 5 Intermediate Diploma in Human Resource Management is for people with more experience of the human resources function. The course builds on your existing skills and knowledge of human resources to become a more effective HR professional, delivering real added value to your organisation.
This course is for you if you:
- already work in HR or L&D and wish to study a recognised professional qualification
- want to progress your career by developing your knowledge and skills
- aspire to become a professional member of the CIPD
The CIPD is the professional body for HR and people development. It has over 135,000 members internationally who work in HR and learning and development. As a member of the CIPD, you can keep you up to date on the latest developments in people management and development. As a professional body the CIPD supports their members, set the standards for professional qualifications and advise individuals and businesses on how to manage their people effectively and fairly.
The learning is delivered through weekly group classes with experienced CIPD qualified tutors and guest speakers. An equal amount of independent study and research is expected in addition to the taught hours and there is will be an element of group project work.
Start dates for 2019 are January and September.
