AAT Professional Accounting Diploma (Level 4)

If you successfully complete this qualification and fulfil the AAT work experience requirements, you can apply for AAT full membership and achieve professional MAAT status.

Entry requirements

You will need to demonstrate that you are both literate and numerate, with an entry requirement of Level 3 in English and Numeracy. You need a high degree of commitment.

A Level 3 accountancy qualification (or relevant experience) is also required.

What's next

Successful completion of a unit will demonstrate to employers exactly what you can do. Completing 6 units will give you a Level 4 Diploma in Accounting.  Provided you also satisfy the AAT work experience requirements you may also apply for AAT membership.

With this qualification, you may progress to professional examinations of ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA and you may be exempt from the first stage of these studies.
