A combination of internal and external assessments. Assessment is generally done through periodic coursework, projects and set tasks.
From September 2019 Creative Arts courses will be delivered at our new campus at Quarry Hill.
Students should have a minimum of four Cs at GCSE including English and maths. If you are part of the new grading system for GCSE we would see a Grade 4 or above as the equivalent of a Grade C in this offer.
If you don’t achieve 4 GCSEs at grade 4 we would still like to hear from you.
You should be able to demonstrate and provide evidence that you have experience with music technology.
In addition to the above, you will also be required to attend an interview and sit a short music technology test.
After successful completion of the diploma most students will go on to study the BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Music Technology
After successful completion of the extended diploma, the majority of learners intend to progress onto university or conservatoire study or seek employment in the sector.
