Computer Games creation has boomed in Leeds, it’s a fast industry and is constantly changing due to evolving technologies. Programmers, artists, writers and animators all come together to produce some of the most innovative and exciting work in the world today.

You will gain key knowledge and be introduced to the practical skills that you will require to work in the computer games industry. Produce your own games and gain understanding of the process of game making.

How you will be assessed

This Level 2 qualification is assessed via a combination of internal assessment, where tasks are set and marked by your tutors, and external assessment which is a written exam/test.

Where is the course delivered (facilities / classrooms)

From September 2019 Creative Arts courses will be delivered at our new campus at Quarry Hill.

Entry Requirements

If you are part of the new grading system for GCSE we would see Grades 3 as the equivalent of a Grade D in this offer.

Students need: 4 GCSEs at Grade D or above.
