Apprenticeships give you the opportunity to work for a real employer, earn a real salary and gain a real qualification whilst gaining valuable workplace skills and experience.
Weekly day release in college or one to one delivery in the workplace.
You will be assessed on your working practice through observations and a portfolio of evidence.
All apprentices must be employed and working in a role that meets the competence requirements of the framework. Our experienced, qualified staff will support your staff to achieve their framework. Depending on the employer this apprenticeship can be delivered either in your workplace or you will attend college on day release/evening.
Candidates should have GCSE A-C maths and English or equivalent, or achieve L2 at the initial English and maths assessments to enrol onto the programme. If candidates do not achieve L2, support is available in college to upskill in these areas prior to enrolment onto the programme.
You could work in a variety of roles and settings that provide care and support, including, clinical support worker, healthcare assistant in hospitals, GP surgeries or hospices.
