In order to achieve this apprenticeship you must successfully complete the different parts of the framework over 12 to 15 months. This could be setting up and taking down equipment, staging and lighting, promotion of events through creating pressreleases, distributing information and advertising or even helping to plan outdoor events and festivals.

What you learn

Apprenticeship themes:

• Set up of stage, instruments, sound and lighting for live events

• Contributing to the production and distribution of publicity for live events

• Assisting in the production of press releases and present live event ticket sales information

• Providing administrative support for indoor and outdoor events

How you will be assessed

A wide range of assessment methods are used in the workplace. Evidence reflects how you have carried out the process relating to your competence.

For example: The process that you carry out could be recorded in an observation or witness testimony. Products relating to your competence could be minutes of a meeting, e mails, letters, manufacturing instructions, photos and health and safety checks.

Different forms of questioning are carried out on an on-going part of the assessment process.

Where is the course delivered (facilities / classrooms)

Delivered entirely in the workplace.   

All Apprentices must be employed and working in a role that meets the competence requirements of the framework.  Our experienced, qualified staff will support your staff to achieve their framework. 

Apprentices will be visited once a month in the workplace and delivery will take place on a one to one basis. 

As there is no college attendance it is recommended at least 2 hours per week is spent away from the working role to concentrate on any development activities set.

Entry requirements

A rigorous recruitment and selection process is carried out to ensure that the aspiring apprentices are suited to enduring this exciting and challenging route of study. GCSE grade A-C in English and Maths would be an advantage.

However if you cannot provide evidence of this then you will be required to sit an online assessment test.
