This course will further develop your appreciation of art by equipping you with the knowledge and skills to gain a deeper understanding of the history of art. Looking at a range of historical and contemporary art you will gain a deeper understanding of several key moments in the history of art by exploring key artists and their work. This course will introduce you to the study of art by investigating the nature of value and beauty, and situating artworks in their social and political context.
