Leeds City College Media Make-up students took part in a vintage fair on 6 May to raise money for charity.
Advintageous, a nostalgic fair celebrating the 1940s, 50s and 60s, was held at Leeds Kirkgate Market to raise money for St Gemma’s Hospice.
The talented students practised their skills by offering mini makeovers for a small donation, including face paint and body art designs.
Course Leader, Katie Mortimer, said: “It was a great event that allowed the students to show off their skills and build up their confidence.
“Guests who visited the beauty salon were thrilled with their makeovers from yesteryear and generously donated to the charity, which was fantastic.”
Taking place on the first Saturday of every month, vintage enthusiasts can also shop for clothing and homeware products, whilst enjoying entertainment from lindy hop performances.
The next event will be taking place on 3 June.
