Creative Ambition, the end of year showcase for Fashion, Theatrical and Media Hair and Make-up students took place on 17 May at Prime Studios.
It was an interactive exhibition of work from the foundation degree students, who showed off their talents to family and friends.
It was an opportunity to explore the personal story behind each of the artists, view their work and follow their journey. With unique and spectacular designs, such as illusions, fairytale themes, 1920s inspired style and spiritualism; guests were amazed and captivated by each unique narrative.
Students also enjoyed a mini awards ceremony that celebrated their achievements and hard work. As part of the event, they also had the chance to network with employers and special guests from Katie's Wigs, The National Youth Theatre, Airbase and Treasure House of Make-up, alongside top make-up artist, Julia Townend.
Estelle Greenhalgh, Programme Manager at Leeds City College, said: “It was a fantastic evening that showcased the creativity and talent of our trainees here at Leeds City College. I’m proud of every single student and what they have accomplished. They have developed immensely over the past couple of years and I’m excited to see what’s in store for them in the future.”
