In 2012/13, 74% of our students who applied to Higher Education were offered a place. This is 1% above the national average. Another Russell Group University (York) now features in the top 10 destinations for our students.

Sport is central to city life – the famous Headingley Stadium is the nearby home of Yorkshire County Cricket Club, Leeds Rhinos (rugby league) and Leeds Carnegie (rugby union). Elland Road, home of Leeds United Footbal Club, is also in the local area.
