Students’ Union

Being a member of the Students’ Union means you are entitled to apply for an NUS Extra discount card. With this card you are able to get discounts locally and nationally and it’s also an ISIC card for international students.

Enrichment
The Student Liaison and Support Officers and the Students’ Union work together to organise activities for students such as ice skating, photography, or college trips.

If you are interested in setting up any groups or sports clubs please pop into a Student Liaison Office at any of the campuses and we will hopefully be able to assist.

Sports
We have a full range of sports courses available, or sports activities to fit around your other studies including football, basketball, rugby, badminton, table tennis, martial arts, fitness classes etc. We are a member of British Colleges Sport Leagues and have links with the Leeds Rhinos, Keighley Cougars, Leeds United, and Bradford City FC to name a few !

Campaigns and Events
Throughout the year we organise numerous campaigns, events and fundraising opportunities for students to take part in. These include, Children in Need, Breast Cancer Awareness, Comic Relief, National Student Volunteering Week and many more.

Volunteering
We also recruit students who are interested in volunteering within the College and community. We can provide volunteering opportunities for students throughout Yorkshire.

Support
Student Liaison and Support Officers can give one-to-one support for students who have any problems whilst studying at the College. We also operate a C-Card scheme (a confidential service designed to reduce the spread of STIs and reduce teenage pregnancies by offering students who are under 25 free condoms).
