Students with Learning Difficulties
We welcome people of all abilities and recognise that some people need a preparatory course before going on to further education or training for work.
Other students need specialist support to achieve their potential, which we can provide. In most cases, students work towards nationally recognised qualifications.
Experienced staff, including careers advisers, help students choose programmes which
meet their needs in terms of how they study and how they wish to progress at the end of
the programme. Our staff have expertise and specialist equipment to help people with
disabilities to overcome barriers to learning.
We hope to give learners the experience and confidence to enable them to move on to a
pre-vocational course e.g. animal care, horticulture, sport and leisure etc.
