Printing Technologies
The Print Academy Department is celebrating its 100th birthday in 2009, having started life in 1909 as part of Leeds Technical School.
We are proud to boast at being one of only four dedicated Print colleges (now known as: Print Academy) in England with the department based at our Technology Campus receiving nationwide recognition of the expertise, skills and facilities we offer.

The Print Academy department has always embraced new technologies and new ways of delivering training. In recent years the College has not only begun to offer blended learning – online as well as hands-on – but has also struck partnerships with giants of the print industry such as Polestar and Newsprint.
We now have in-house training centres staffed by college tutors, which have enabled the huge workforces of these businesses to enhance their print skills without having to leave the workplace. We’re dedicated to providing print courses and quality print training to companies and individuals alike.
