Our Access to Higher Education (HE) courses allow you to get to university in one year, while our Access Foundation programmes provide progression to relevant Access to HE courses. Choose an access course at Leeds City College and prepare for your dream job.
Level 3 Access to HE – Gaining a Level 3 qualification can fast-track you to university or other higher education course options.
Level 2 Access Foundation programmes – Studying for a Level 2 Access Foundation course can lead to Access HE courses and on to university level. If university isn’t the pathway you are looking for, a Level 2 can also provide you with the qualifications that are often required for many jobs and further study programmes.
We have government funded courses which means there’s potential for you to study something you’ve dreamed of for free.
If you are earning £23,400 or below, you can study most of our adult courses for free

If you are earning below £23,400, unemployed or have never studied a Level 3 course before (equivalent to A Levels), you can study one of our level 3 courses listed here for free.
We offer flexible timetables, blended and online programmes, childcare support, academic advice and funding guidance for a range of course-related costs.
