“I was delighted and thrilled to be appointed as Principal and Chief Executive of Leeds City College. This is one of the most exciting and important positions in further education.
My vision for Leeds City College is a simple one: to create the best college in the country. Together we will build on the strengths of each existing college to turn that vision into reality.
Further Education is, as usual, in the midst of change. Reforms in the 16-19-year-old curriculum, employer responsiveness initiatives and an increased focus on social cohesion provide Leeds City College with opportunities to deliver on a number of important agendas.
I am confident that together we will create an exceptional College – one that students, staff, governors and the people of Leeds & Keighley can be justifiably proud.”
