LEP Skills Service


Leeds City College is registered to deliver training for the LEP Skills Service.

This new service from the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) helps businesses to identify their skills needs based on their business growth objectives and then find the right training solution. Small and medium-sized business based in the Leeds City Region that have a budget to put towards training could be eligible for funding of between £500 and £50,000. The types of training courses that could be eligible for the skills service are;

Marketing, Digital Marketing & Social Media Training including Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualifications

Coaching and Mentoring Skills

Conflict management

Leadership & Management including Chartered Institute of Managers (CMI) qualifications

Performance Management

Personal Development

Managing Change

Team Management

Sales, Communications & Customer Services

Strategic Business Development & Planning

Financial Skills including AAT Level 2-4

Computing, Design & Networking including CISCO, Microsoft Office, Microsoft 411,412,413


Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)

Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS)

Please note that all skills service applications are subject to approval panels and are assessed on a case by case basis.
