undefinedThe Humber Skills Support for the Workforce & Redundancy contract is a £6m ESIF funded project that will deliver responsive workplace learning courses across the Humber region and aims to enhance employee skills and career prospects as well as reducing the risk of long-term unemployment. This investment forms part of the Humber LEP’s European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) allocation.

Leeds City College has joined 15 specialist providers to deliver the programme until March 2018 and will engage with employees of regional businesses within key employment sectors as identified by the Humber Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP). The project will aim to provide funded training to over 5,000 individuals as well as meeting employer needs and boosting the local economy.

The Skills Support for the Workforce project is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF), and co-financed by the Skills Funding Agency. The project will target key priority sectors that have been identified by the Humber Local Enterprise Partnership.
