Introduction

Is English not your first language? Would you like to improve your written and spoken English? If so, consider our ESOL courses designed to develop your English for work, study and life in the UK.

Leeds City College is one of the largest providers of ESOL courses in the UK. The department was recently given a rating of outstanding, and has one of the highest achievement rates in the UK.

Overview

We offer ESOL classes at the following levels: Beginner, Entry 1, Entry 2, Entry 3 and Level 1. All applicants will be invited to an interview which will include an assessment of language level. We can then place you in a class at the right level for your language needs. We offer a variety of times for you to study either 9.30-12, 12.30-3, 3.30-6 or 6.30-9. We have classes Monday to Friday.
