About the course
The Certificate is a one year course introductory level business programme suitable for ESOL students. Students will continue to develop their language skills while studying for a business qualification.
What will I learn?
Students will study a range of units from the certificate in business administration and award in IT. The course modules may include:
- Investigating Rights and Responsibilities at Work.
- Business Administration Group Project.
- Working as Part of a Team.
- Working in Business and Administration.
- Job Opportunities in Business Administration
How will I be assessed?
Students are assessed using different methods. These include role play, presentation, assignment and project work.
What are the entry requirements?
No formal entry requirements are needed. An interview is guaranteed, during which students should demonstrate an interest in business and the world of work. A commitment to their studies is also required.
Students will need to demonstrate Entry Level 3 English Language skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Future Opportunities
