About the course
This is an Introduction to the Hospitality Industry, gaining knowledge and understanding that help develop both practical and theoretical skills that will aid with progression to higher level programmes or employment opportunities.

- Front of house activities.
- Food and drink service.
- Food preparation skills.
- Basic cooking skills.
- Personal effectiveness.
- Preparation for work skills.
How will I be assessed?
Learners will be taught in a classroom and practical front of house kitchen environment with one assignment set per unit of the course.
What are the entry requirements?
There are no formal entry requirements but applicants should have a genuine interest in catering and some experience of cooking would be an advantage.
