You will build your confidence and the skills required to serve Food and Drink within the versatile hospitality industry.

You will learn the professional art of cocktail making, wine tasting, barista skills, high level service skills including the art of theatre cooking i.e. flambeing.

You will be continually assessed through practical observation, short answer question exams and assignments.

Your tutor you will be on hand throughout this course to support you.

Entry requirements

Students are required to have an interest in the subject and ideally a minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade D or above.

You will need to be determined, passionate and driven about food and drink service and a commitment to deliver exceptional customer service.

You may have to undertake English and Maths alongside this course if you do not have the required grades.

 

 

What's next

After successfully completing this course you will be able to progress onto our Level 3 Diploma in Supervision of Professional Food and Drink Service.

Alternatively you could seek an Apprenticeship at Level 3 or seek employment with your newfound skills within the Hotel, Bar and Restaurant industry.
